Our Instructors
Jay
I have been dancing now for 29 years and teaching for 28 years. I gained my instructional accreditation after taking on my first class. I am now lucky to be an instructor at Lawley Village Line Dance Club. I just love to Line Dance. When I am not Teaching or DJ'ing, you will often find me dancing at other clubs social events and really enjoying the community that Line Dancing provides. I love sharing my passion and knowledge with others and like to mentor new instructors and clubs too. I get to share my hobby with my wonderful Wife and Children - it's great that we can go out as a family!
Dan
I am very down to earth and have a passion for teaching while always striving to better myself and other people around me. My teaching style is very relaxed and focused on fun. My love for country music goes back to when I started line dancing as a child. I do enjoy songs and dances with vocals that capture the mind and soul. My favourite dance at the moment is sticks and stones.
Stewart
I started line dancing when I was 14 years old and went on to start teaching at 16. Line dance has been my life, it's how I met my wife Lynzey. Our two girls have followed in our footsteps, making dance a real family affair. I have a real passion for country music and have been involved in the organisation and running of country music/line dance events and festivals, where you will often find me DJing, Compering, and Teaching. I absolutely love the social life and community that line dancing and country music brings. I am quite technical-minded and love bringing high-quality sound and lighting to events that I am involved with.
